Vintage Large Nathan Oval Teak Extending Dining Table. A lovely dining table with beautiful curved feet feature.

When extended 91.5 cm x 175 cm.

In used condition, the table is structurally sound. There are signs of wear commensurate with age, various surface scratches, scuffs and marks, please see photos, these form part of the description.

Nathan Furniture Makers was the brainchild of Barnett Nathan, who immigrated to London from Russia.   Production began in 1916 in London, and originally focused on sideboards, but as their popularity grew, so did their range. By the 1960’s it included several complete ranges of dining room furniture. By now, strongly influenced by the clean and uncomplicated lines of “Scandi design”, these were made from quality Teak and African Mahogany to increase their charm, and they remain incredibly popular.
