- Product Specification
The items that I sell are vintage, so some natural wear and tear and signs of age should be expected, and this adds to the general appeal of each item as it makes it truly unique.
I endeavour to provide very clear and detailed photographs and description of each product, however, if you would like further clarification on the condition of an item please contact me before making a purchase. I am very happy to answer any questions and would much rather customers make an informed decision before committing to buy.
Due to limitations and colour variations between monitors there may be slight colour variations to those displayed.
2. Dimensions
For all items I provide approximate dimensions – if space is tight, or you need exact measurements, please contact me and I will try and provide more detailed information.
I cannot be held responsible if an item of furniture cannot gain access to, or does not fit in its intended space. Therefore, I strongly recommend that you measure all access areas prior to making a purchase.
Please note: Items cannot be returned because they are the wrong size or do not fit – please see my Returns Policy further down the page for more information.
3. Prices
All prices shown on the website are in pounds sterling (£), and include delivery within mainland England, unless specified otherwise in the items listing.
4. Payments
We can take payment in any of the following ways:
- Cash on collection
- Bank transfer/BACS – please contact me for further details
- Credit or Debit card via PayPal payment platform (does not require a PayPal account); shoult1@hotmail.co.uk
If you don’t have a PayPal account, don’t worry, you can still use all major credit cards through the PayPal payment platform – this works just like other online payment systems. I use PayPal because it is one of the most secure payment platforms in the world.
5. Wood products – Care & Advice
All wood products need to be treated with care – wood is a natural, living and breathing material. You should avoid placing wood furniture in direct sunlight as this will help maintain colour and avoid fading of the wood/dyes. Please also avoid placing furniture near heat sources such as wood burners, fires, radiators, or directly on underfloor heating, as this can have an adverse affect on the wood.
Please Note:
Reclaimed wood/boards are a natural wood product and due to the nature of this some movement is to be expected as they adapt to a new environment i.e. heating/air conditioning and atmospheric changes. As a result we cannot be held responsible for timber movement.
6. General terms relating to website use
Order Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if: we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered; we do not deliver to your area; one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error.
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit or debit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order.
We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Accuracy
I take pride in ensuring that the website is up-to-date and accurate, but I am only human, and it is possible that some errors may occur from time-to-time. I will make every effort to rectify any errors as soon as possible, but cannot be held responsible.
